Letz mint some ‘ka-ching’

*Holy COW We got lucky with HEELYS again

Wow I love those Heelys. mmmuah.

We are on another trade spree here.

Bought two bunches on this dip.

One small bunch at $27.3

Another bigger bunch today at $ 24.8

We are up 10% after hours from today’s closing price. The shorts will have a hard time in the coming days. That squeeze should take us much higher. Hold on tight and thank Staffaroni.

Congrats and Good Luck.

  1. What do you think, what is the reason that after that surge, HLYS got back again to the same level?

    thanks,

  2. Hi Balint,
If you are trading, you should have got out on the news. If you are a middle term investor…..then I think you should wait till the quarterly result announcement.
About the stock price coming down after the spike…I think the major problem is, people who keep selling or shorting on the news. Everybody now knows that the management is thinking of ‘selling off the stake’ when the price goes higher. But, once these sellers are done….and once the management puts up a new strategy, I think we are going to see a huge covering considering the reasons I already mentioned in the ” What’s wrong with Analysts? post”
If you want to look at the Profit/loss ratio from here…you have a max drop of a buck more and a rise to atleast $34 considering all the financials and fundamentals. That is 6/1 ratio…and I’ld hold on if you did not take profits.
    Thanks,

  3. Hi Youradu,

Thanks for the reply! I am a very beginner in stocks and investment in general, with no financial background… but right now I am in process of learning about stock trading… and I have hlys in my virtual portfolio, for similar reasons you mentioning: the fundamentals…
BTW, do you have a got tip where to get some good basics on stocks trading as a beginner? (I have similar background like you: computer science – currently phd student)

    Thanks,
    Balint
