Letz mint some ‘ka-ching’

We have been holding SMN and SKF for some time……And we are now shorting the whole market as planned once the market hit the 12700 mark.

We are also making a position here in DUG !!! That should be some interesting move

Short the market and make money .

Good Luck,

Your Adarsh

  2. hi, do you think its kind of late shorting the market? I mean once you hear about on CNBC its usually kind of late going to the party

  3. Thanks, Good pick with SKF. I think there’s plenty of downside in the financial sector ( which SKF shorts) because of all the foreclosures and other credit defaults. Keep up the good work.

  4. I am relatively new to this site, but I was wondering if it was too late to enter in for a piece of DUG. If not, what would you recommend as a stop-loss and when are you going to sell?

  5. DUG – as you know was a good bold old decision. Start the pos at 38-40. I’m not selling it anytime soon. Only selling it when oil gets to 80-85. By that time DUG would go to around 48-50 range. My target is the 38% retracement at around 49-50.

Stop loss right now may be around 38.75

You can get in Monday I guess…some news or the other (weak US economy, lower dollar or some clashes in east) will take oil higher and I guess you’ll get a nice entry Monday or Tuesday into DUG.

  6. Brad I think we will have more from DUG than from SKF. Though, I hold both I like my DUG pick. (Against the market)

A reminder …We initiated GS and WFR today again …

GS at 157.7 and WFR at 72.27

  7. Hi Adarsh,

I bought some GS today for 148. Do you think its a good decision? They are releasing their earnings tomorrow right? Should I hold?

  11. Good trade wid GS!! 😉 We have not yet sold off it yet …..guessing tomorrow should be an ok day tooo wid V cuming into pic.
And about V – don’t pay more than 70% above where itz priced.
I think you can get it for that price very early when trading starts.
    Good Luck,

  12. Thanks Adarsh. Bought some V @ 55. And also bought little bit of NCC…on the hope that V will go up, so NCC will as well.

  13. Nice Catch Sashi. We have the holding at the IPO price…so didn’t have to sit before the computers and do technical trading on the very first day 😉
but I should say I didn’t get the jump I really wanted….Probably will go higher in the next few days when the market sheds some of the flesh it accrued yesterday.

Sell other stocks and buy V 😉 may be the theme tomorrow.

But we are in it for long term. Min 1 yr.

  14. I started my limit with 55, bumped it to 65, lowered it to 60, lowered to 55, then to 53, finally bumped it up to 55 🙂 what a pain to play the limit game! Hope my order went through at 55.

I was surprised to see the stock going down, coz usually IPOs get the most attention.

Depending on how things go, I will see if I can buy more V.

Whats your take on POT? I see a ~5% dip? Is it a good time to jump in?

    Thanks as always.
