Letz mint some ‘ka-ching’

*This is how we turn molten steel into profits!!!

Nucor Corporation   (Public, NYSE:NUE)

Steel has been red hot since our recommendation. It continues to get hotter and hotter. The LMP acquisition, the buffett rumor are poised to take it much higher.

The stock is up about 9% in 5 trading sessions from Aug 2nd. Pocket some profits and ride the rest higher.

The stock is poised to go higher and higher, thanks to S&P upgrade. Hold on. We will be buyers on any pull back. Look at the MACD crossing higher.

  2. Adar,

What are your feelings on GS at its current level? I know it took a huge hit yesterday but is the subprime mess a large concern for GS? Any potential for a short term, 5-10% upside trade?

  4. Before I Read your post today I couldn’t resist nue at 43.72.
Do you think nue can recover?

  5. No wait …this market is not yet done going down
Nue is not a bad stock…its the carry on yen trade …and the whole sector and the market tanking that’s taking it down….See the market recover and then you pounce on stocks that are good.

  6. Covered nue at 46.80 should have held but was spooked. Still a profit with some luck
involved. Could this be a buy on a gap?
Also with gains for fslr and deck should we have our fingers on the short trigger?
    Thanks for your site.

  7. John , the commodities are getting hit…and will continue to…Moreover, looks like the sell pressure on the stock should take it much lower…..it’ll start coming back up as usual during the fall…but before that it has to hit a bottom which is still not visible…it has more to go down. All technicals point lower as of now. A day with no positive news to boost…the stock will go low. I’ld not be a buyer here.
